Bath Time!

Baby Ezra cries every time he gets a bath. The month he was born, October, was very cold and even that we always had the header on there is an underlying chill and baby does not like to feel cold.

As soon as we took his clothe off, he started crying hard.  Then we put him in the warm water and...

he always calm down but still keep crying.

Ezra is not using his room (nursery).  He lives and sleeps here at the dinning room table since he arrived home from the hospital.  Since he eats every two-three hours here we are close to the kitchen where we can always easily prepared his bottle every time. 

He sleeps like a baby through any noise we make as we cook, talk serve the table and eat.

Tia Ana Sings to Me

Somteimes I am awake when I am with tia Ana.

She puts me in all kinds of different positions that I like

She makes sure I'm comfortable

She sings to me and.....

I listen very carefully.   I love it when my tia Ana takes care of me.

Baby at the Lunch Table

Baby is at the table when we eat our meals.  Sometimes he is sleeping and sometimes he is awake.  Here we are getting ready to eat lunch and is awake very active kicking his legs and arms.  Wonder if he could smell our lunch?

Mommy loves that baby sleep on her.  She loves the sound of  his little breathing breaths and loves the warmed of his body on her chest.

My Tia Ana loves to take care of me.  She is so good about changing me...

putting a new dipper on my tiny body and keeping me clean.

She is takes her time when she helps me burp and.....

 I love to sleep on her.  I love my tia Ana!

The Many Faces of Baby Ezra While Daddy is Helping Him Burp

At two weeks old it take about 30- 45 minutes to feed him including the burping time

We want to be sure to attend to his burping needs so he does not get colic

Baby Ezra needs a feeding every 2 to 3 hours.  Here is mommy doing one of the night feedings.  Baby Ezra is a  newborn.  He is so small and fragile.  The bottle is almost as big as him.
