Going Home from the Hospital

Daddy with car seat and diaper bag ready to take baby Ezra home

Daddy holding baby Ezra while waiting do be discharged
Baby Ezra on daddy's lap
Daddy could not take his eyes off of him.  Bonding time for father and son:-)  Sweet and precious moment:-)
Two people came to do a hearing test on Ezra.  He passed with flying colors
Resting after his hearing test.  He is sleeping through everything.  The nurses called him sleepy.
Last moments of Ezra enjoying his hospital nursery bed where he slept for two nights.
Mommy and baby ready to go home:-)
Mommy looking at every detail of her baby Ezra
He is so small!
He is so perfect:-)
He is so precious!
"My beautiful son", mommy said.  "Thank you Lord"!
So much joy and love!!!!!
Baby got hungry while waiting for the pediatrician to come give him his final check before discharge
Mommy is having the greatest time learning to bottle feed him
Baby doing well learning to bottle feed
Mommy enjoying the cuing sounds and different face expression the baby was doing
Resting after doing the burping time
The pediatrician came and gave the OK to take Ezra home.  Mommy took the hospital clothes from baby and put on his very first own outfit on.  It was too big for him but doable:-)
Saying good-bye to the nurses:-)
Mommy taking baby out of his bed.  They put both baby and mommy in a wheel chair.  Can't believe we did not take a picture of mother and baby in the wheelchair that transport them out of the hospital.
The hospital nursery bed where baby Ezra slept for two nights.  We wish we could take it home too.  We loved this bed!  It had drawers full of dippers, Vaseline, cotton balls, cute tips, little hots, blankets,...everything we need it.  It had wheels to easy move him around to different places and most of all it was high so we did not have to be bending down to care for him.
Mommy walking from the wheelchair(wish we had a picture of mommy, baby on the wheelchair) to the car.
Daddy was so excited and busting with happiness to take baby home.  He put baby in his car sit and made sure he was safe and comfortable for the ride home.

Auntie Linda came with us and fed me when I got hungry while we were driving home.
